I ordered a few parts from Barnes 4WD and, shockingly enough these days, everything in the box was exactly what I picked. No missing pieces, no random wrong sizes, and the packing slip was easy to go through without needing a detective kit. I’ve dealt with other places where apparently sending the correct stuff is too much to ask, so it was nice not having to email anyone for once. It was a simple order, but they got it right.

I was trying to track down a few different 4WD parts and was running into the same problem on a bunch of other sites, where the parts were either out of stock, on backorder, or just not clearly available. Barnes4WD actually had what I needed ready to order, which was a nice surprise. The ordering process was straightforward too, so I didn’t have to mess around or wait forever wondering when backordered parts might show up. Overall, it was a smooth experience and I’m happy with how it all worked out

"Good prices and easy order"
I checked a few other 4WD sites first, and the prices here were better, not by a mile, but enough to make it worth ordering. The parts felt solid for what I paid, and shipping wasn’t bad either, which is always a nice surprise. Overall, happy with it and I’d order again if I need more gear.

I had a warranty issue come up and, i was expecting it to be a pain. But right away, I kind of got the sense they were going to handle it properly. They sorted it out quickly and didn’t make me jump through a bunch of hoops, which I really appreciated.

Got it fast, and everything went fine. I was half expecting some kind of delay or problem, but there wasn’t anything to complain about. The packaging could’ve maybe been a little nicer, though that’s not really a big deal at all since the item showed up just fine...

I haven’t personally ordered from Barnes 4WD yet, but I keep seeing their name come up in offroad groups and it’s usually positive. People seem to trust their parts, and I’ve heard good things about their customer service too.
A few friends are running their stuff and haven’t had any issues, which definitely makes me more interested. They seem like a solid shop for building a rig, and once I try them out, I could see myself going back for more parts if everything goes well

"Took Some Tweaking to Get Right"
It worked in the end, but not right away. I had to mess with it a bit and adjust a few things before it felt like it was doing what it was supposed to. i was a little suspicious at first because it didn’t seem quite as straightforward as expected, but after some tweaking, it turned out okay.

I was kind of dreading my axle swap because I kept telling myself I didn’t have time to chase down measurements or email back and forth. Their install guides and drawings made it way less confusing, though. I found what I needed quick and didn’t have to bug anyone a bunch.

The quality is solid and everything fit right like it was supposed to. My only issue was really just bad timing, it showed up right when I had way too much going on, so I didn’t get to deal with it properly at first. Once I did, though, no complaints

I was happy with how many options they had for setting things up the way I wanted. I could pick the parts that actually made sense for my build instead of feeling like I had to settle for some one-size-fits-all setup. The site was easy enough to get around too. Took me a while to make up my mind, but that was mostly just me overthinking it... Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out.

"Return was fine, but the wait was ridiculous"
I ordered a part from barnes4wd.com and ended up having to return it because it just wasn’t going to work with my setup. They did approve the return, so that part was fine, but the refund took way longer than I expected. I even had to reach out and check on it, which was kind of ridiculous. Overall, it wasn’t a horrible experience, just slower than I’d like. I’d consider ordering from them again, but I’d definitely double-check fitment next time.
